How we deliver value amid rising prices

You’ve probably heard about pervasive supply chain issues. From clogged shipping ports to labor shortages to the rising costs of cardboard and paper, it feels like nearly every industry has been affected by disruptions. The truth is, we live in an increasingly connected world where all of us—from organic farmers in California to truck drivers who deliver Misfits Market boxes to your doorsteps—are impacted in one way or another by the global supply chain squeeze. Head to our blog to get the lowdown on what’s been going on and learn how we’re continuing to help you save up to 40% each week on groceries.

What to order this week

Given how well they pair together in meals, it may come as a surprise that potatoes and onions are mortal enemies on your kitchen countertop. Why? Onions release ethylene gas and moisture that causes potatoes to ripen faster—and sprout those unsightly eyes. They may taste delicious when cooked together, but in order to help both veggies last a long time, store them in cool, dry, dark areas apart from one another. (When stored properly, potatoes can last about two weeks at room temperature; onions will last up to two months.)
